The Shukela Training Centre in Mount Edgecombe has a vacancy for an Agricultural Training Administrator on internship in the Agricultural Department.
Key performance areas of this position include:
Reporting to the Agricultural Training Manager and providing support to the Finance and Administration Manager, the successful incumbent will be receive direct mentorship from the Agricultural Training Instructors on various field visits, assist with providing specialised mobile skills-training to employees and Growers in all cane growing sectors and assist with administration in order to enhance profitable and sustainable sugarcane production in South Africa and the SADC Region. The on-site training requires that the incumbent travels throughout the sugar belt, ranging from Mpumalanga in the north, through Kwa-Zulu Natal and down to the Eastern Cape.
The successful candidate will be passionate about training in addition to the following requirements:
Added advantages will include having completed a Senior Certificate course in sugarcane.Preference will be given to suitable candidates from the designated group in line with Company’s Employment Equity Policy & Plan” including people with disabilities.
