Aramex is offering an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified HR graduate to join the team as an Intern. The Internship will run for a period not exceeding 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all relevant employment documentation is accurately completed for all new hires
• Accurate and up to date record keeping on the HR system
• Drafting of letters of appointment, fixed term contracts, promotion and increase letters
• Monitor employee leave in line with company policy
• Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
• Facilitate disciplinary process and setting up of disciplinary enquiries
• Facilitate Shop Steward meetings in branches with union representation
• Preparing and handling Conciliation and Arbitration cases at the NBCRFLI
• Facilitate the grievance procedure when necessary
• Conduct Exit Interviews
• Induction – Facilitate induction for all new employees
• Attend to DoL requirements
• Health & Safety – Ensure that all H&S issues are escalated and attended to with the H&S representative
• Analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers
• Assist with carrying out of training
• General administration
• Accurate and timely completion of monthly HR Reports
• Enhance employer / employee relationship

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar qualification and/or experience
• Excellent knowledge of local labour laws – LRA, BCEA, EEA, OHSA.
• Must be willing to travel
• Valid Code 08 drivers licence and own reliable transport essential
