Position Title: Financial Services Risk Management Graduate Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you will have the chance to support our clients in navigating a variety of risk-related topics, including Financial Crime (FinCrime), Governance, Regulatory Compliance, and Conduct Risk. Your role will involve assessing policies and procedures to identify gaps in regulatory requirements and providing actionable remediation plans or recommendations. You will work on diverse client assignments across various industries, including banking, insurance, and wealth and asset management, gaining invaluable experience along the way.
Requirements:
We are looking for recent graduates with the following:
- A BCom, BCom Law, or LLB degree
- A keen interest in pursuing professional qualifications such as CAMS, CPrac, or CFE
- A desire to gain exposure to regulatory requirements across pan-African jurisdictions
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Basic knowledge of key regulations, including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, Banks Act, Financial Markets Act, Prevention of Organised Crime Act, and the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills
- The ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively to meet deadlines
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a team
