Responsinilities:
- Responsible for the Procurement Process, price evaluations, cost analysis, negotiations and final procurement selection of suppliers
- Negotiate and enter into multiyear cost effective contracts with major supplier in conjunction with Senior Buyer;
- Develop good relationships with suppliers, gain knowledge of products, sources, prices, design of technical commodities and services;
- Cost analysis
- Achieve cost savings targets set by management
- Price negotiations
- Price evaluation and final recommendation
Requirements:
B Com / B Tech / Advanced Diploma in:
- Procurement
- Logistics
- Supply Chain;
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must;
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English;
- Broad Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantage;
- Experience in working with SAP ERP system will be advantage;
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Good problem solving and analytical skills;
- Good planning and organizational skills – time management; and
- Proven ability to take responsibility and high level of integrity.
