A learnership on a ship? This opportunity could change your life. If you live in the Richtersveld, Nama-Khoi or Mossel Bay Municipalities in South Africa, applications from qualifying candidates are invited for seagoing learnership positions that will lead to an entry level Certificate of Proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training under supervision to perfcern tasks onboard vessels both alongside and whilst at sea.
- Completion of all statutory training and the On Board Training Record Book dump the duration of the Learnership which will lead to an entry-level seagoing Certificate of Proficiency.
- Adherence to all Safely requirements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Matric certificate
- Between 18 and 25 years age
- Resident in Richtersveld, Nama-Khoi or Mossel Bay Municipalities
- In possession of a South African Identity document
- Compliant with strict SHEQ standards and AMSOL’s Drug & Alcohol policy.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- A team player and a professional work ethic.
