ATNS Graduate-in-Training Programme 2026

Air Traffic and Navigation Services, commonly known as ATNS, has opened applications for five Graduate-in-Training opportunities for 2026.

The programme is intended to help recently qualified graduates transition from university or college into the workplace. Successful applicants will receive practical work exposure, professional development, mentorship and on-the-job training over 24 months.

The available opportunities are based in Bedfordview, with training exposure at the ATNS head office in Bruma and the Aviation Training Academy in Johannesburg. The official ATNS recruitment portal lists all five opportunities with a closing date of 28 July 2026.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following general requirements:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Have completed a relevant diploma or degree.
  • Have no more than one year of full-time work experience in their field of study since graduating.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Meet the specific qualification requirements of the programme for which they are applying.

  • Demonstrated competence.
