City of Johannesburg Paralegal Internship 2026
- Position: Paralegal Intern

Internship Stipend
- Completed Qualification (Minimum 360 credits): R10 109.86 per month
- Enrolled as a 2nd Year Student: R3 500.00 per month
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- National Diploma in Law, Legal Assistance, Paralegal or related field (NQF Level 6)
- No previous work experience
- Must be a resident of the City of Johannesburg
Primary Function
The successful candidate will assist the Group Legal and Contracts Department with:
- Legal research
- Report writing
- Filing and preparation of legal documents
- Litigation administration
- Legal support services
- Coordinating legal and court-related processes
The role also involves supporting the City in minimizing legal risks and protecting municipal interests.
