Internship Details:

• Internship opportunities are available in the Textile Testing and Characterisation facility within the Advanced Polymer Composites Research Group, part of the Chemicals Cluster at CSIR.
• Aim of the internship is to provide practical work experience in textile testing and characterisation of industrial samples under experienced technologists’ guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing customer service and technical support via phone, email, and online requests.
• Effective administration of incidents, requests, and problem resolution.
• Ensuring service delivery within Service Level Agreements (SLA) criteria.
• Tracking and monitoring support cases for timely resolution.
• Escalating critical customer situations appropriately.
• Contributing to documentation and knowledge base article library.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, information technology, data science, machine learning, or related field.
• Honours degree is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Windows platforms and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Analysis, debugging, and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage customers professionally, and function in a team or individually.
