About the ECIC Graduate Programme
The Export Credit Insurance Corporation of South Africa (ECIC) is offering a graduate trainee opportunity designed to help graduates transition from academic study into a structured work environment. The programme provides hands-on training across various procurement functions, aiming to develop future-ready professionals.
Key Areas of Training Exposure:
- Planning and demand management
- Acquisition management
- Logistics management
- Contract and supplier management
- Travel and records management
- Compliance with procurement policies and laws
- Public procurement systems (petty cash, one and three written quotations, competitive bidding, and more)
- Exposure to the three bid committee system
Key Interfaces:
- Finance Unit
- Heads of Business Units and internal stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
- A 3-year post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management or Finance
- No prior corporate working experience
- South African citizen under the age of 35 years
