Fly Fofa Aviation Training is offering training opportunites to unemployed youth. The proramme is aimed for Gauteng Province Candidates, it is a full-time training program that includes Accommodation and Monthly Stipend.
The following Training Programmes are open for applications:
Advanced Pilot Training
Overview: This Training program is designed to get the commercial pilot students to continue with their hour building training to add more hours to their current total flying hours. Once the students have completed the program, they will have increased their opportunities to get a possible employment in the industry. All flying hours will be scheduled and monitored according to the program. The school utilises single engine aircrafts for this training.
Duration: 24 months program (including accommodation and monthly stipend)
Requirements:
- Must be South African
- Must not be older than 25 years of Age.
- Must be residing in Gauteng Province
- Must have a valid Commercial Pilot License
- Must have a valid Medical
Initial Cabin Crew Training
Overview: Flight attendants work in a dynamic and exciting environment. They can travel all over the world and meet new people from all walks of life. It is a rewarding career that offers competitive salaries and benefits. The course will include all theoretical, practical, internal and external SACAA exams as per the SACAA regulations for one to finally obtain their Cabin Crew Licence. This allows you to seek employment with any local and international airlines of your choice.
Duration: 12 Weeks – full time training program (including accommodation and monthly stipend)
Requirements:
- Must be South African
- Minimum age of 18 years to 23 years of Age.
- Must be residing in Gauteng Province
- Must have Completed Grade 12
- Must have obtained Level 5 in English
- Must be willing to undergo an Aviation Medical Examination
- Must have minimum height of 1.6m
- Candidates should be highly motivated, safety orientated and culturally sensitive
Remote Pilot (Drone) Certificate
Overview: Our comprehensive course covers everything you need to know to become a certified drone pilot. We’ll teach you about drone regulations, safe flying practices and how drones operate. The course will include all theoretical, practical’s, internal and external SACAA exams as per the SACAA regulations for one to finally obtain their Remote Pilot Certificate. Get hands-on experience: You’ll practice flying drones in a safe environment with our experienced instructors. Once you complete the training, it will be your time to demonstrate your knowledge and drone flying skills to a qualified examiner to earn your certificate.
Duration: 12 Weeks – full time training program (including accommodation and monthly stipend)
Requirements:
- Must be South African
- Minimum age of 18 to 23 years of age
- Must be residing in Gauteng
- Must have Completed Grade 12
- Must have obtained Level 5 in English
- Must Have Obtained Level 4 in Mathematics & Level 5 in Mathematical Literacy
- People living with Disability
- Must be willing to undergo an Aviation Medical Examination
- Good communication, judgment and decision-making skills
- Candidates must have the ability to multitask and have great hand to eye co-ordination.
- Candidates must be safety orientated and culturally sensitive.
Private to Commercial Pilot License
Overview: The training will allow a learner to start their journey to train for Private Pilot License, Night Rating, hour building, Instrument Rating and Commercial pilot License. The course will include all theoretical, practical’s, internal and external
SACAA exams as per the SACAA regulations for one to finally obtain their commercial pilot license. The Commercial Pilot Licence is the gateway to flying a commercial aircraft while getting remunerated for the job.
Duration: 24 Months – program (including accommodation and monthly stipend).
Requirements:
- Must be South African
- Minimum age of 17 to 23 years of Age
- Must be residing in Gauteng
- Must have Completed Grade 12
- Must have obtained Level 5 in English, Level 5 in Mathematics, (Physical Science will be an added advantage)
- Must qualify for a Class Il Aviation Medical
- Good communication, judgment and decision-making skills
- Candidates must have the ability to multitask and have great hand to eye co-ordination.
- Candidates must be safety orientated and culturally sensitive.
