Higher certificate in Mechatronics is characterised by the ability to apply proven, commonly understood detailed techniques, procedures, practices and codes to solve narrowly-defined Mechatronic engineering problems under the supervision of technicians, technologists and engineers. the Higher Certificate will provide an excellent alternative pathway for noncontracted 

learners to prepare for the trade test to qualify as Artisans, this caters for the interested parties who have obtained not less than a higher certificate in matric or equivalent qualification.

 

Requirements: • Minimum statutory NSC requirements for certificate entry must be met. • English, Afrikaans or isiXhosa (home language or first additional language) on at least a level 3 (40–49%). • Mathematics or Technical Mathematics 4 (50 - 59%). • Physical Science or Technical Science 4 (50-59%)
