About the Graduate Programme
The Graduate in Training (GIT) program is designed for recent graduates who are eager to launch their careers within Pele Energy Group, offering them an intensive, well-rounded experience across key business functions. This program provides a structured, fast-paced learning environment where the graduate will gain exposure to different aspects of the business, develop technical and soft skills, and actively contribute to the company’s strategic goals.
The Graduate in Training will play a critical role in supporting departmental objectives, learning from seasoned professionals, and being mentored to drive continuous improvement. This is a 24 month rotation throughout the business on a full-time basis.

Graduate in Training: Impact Investing
Recent graduate with a degree in:
- Business Science,
- Economics,
- Finance,
- Politics,
- Philosophy & Economics
- or any other Commerce related degree.
Graduate in Training: ESG
Bachelor’s degree (BSc or equivalent) in:
- Environmental Science,
- Environmental Management,
- Chemical Engineering,
- Sustainability,
- Climate Change,
- Economics,
- or related fields.
Graduate in Training – Business Development
- Degree in Engineering (all streams)
- or a qualification in Finance
Graduate in Training: Asset Management
- Relevant BCom Degree in: Finance and Accounting.
- CIMA qualification would be advantageous.
Graduate in Training: Knowledge Pele
Completed (or in final year of) a Bachelors Degree or related Honours degree in:
- Development Studies
- Community Development
- Project Management
- Local Economic Development Management
- Sustainability
Graduate in Training: Project Development
BSc and/or BSc Hons in:
- Environmental Sciences,
- Geography,
- Geology
Graduate in Training – Investment and Funding Group
Have completed, or be in the final year of study toward, one of the following undergraduate or honours degrees
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in:
- Investment Management
- Finance (specialising in Investment)
- Management Sciences (specialising in Investment Management)
- Accounting
- Economics
Bachelor of Science (BSc) specialising in:
- Finance,
- Investment & Banking
Graduate in Training – Finance
- BCom (Accounting) or Finance degree
Graduate in Training: Community and Development Researcher
At least an Honours degree in Social Science, such as;
- Development Studies,
- Sociology,
- Political Studies.
