Responsibilities:
- Receive goods and services adhering to required documentation (Purchase Order, Delivery notes, Invoices, Certificate of Conformance / Analysis)
- Processing of Goods Receipt on the SAP ERP system within 24 hours of delivery
- Resolving of queries relating to inbound logistics.
- Develop and coordinate load plans for transportation of product between various RDM sites;
- Plan and arrange vehicle service and maintenance for the RDM Boksburg fleet;
- Ensure up to date road compliance for the RDM Boksburg fleet (licensing; road tolls; signage etc.);
- Daily administrate the booking and assigning of pool vehicles to various employees; and
- Administrate and handle queries and incidents relating to the RDM Boksburg fleet.
- Issue goods and services according to RDM procedure (Issue goods and services adhering to required documentation (stock reservation, production order, picking list) ;
- Ensure on time goods issuing;
- Processing of Goods Issue on the SAP ERP system prior to the physical issuing of goods
Requirements:
- National Diploma in: Logistics / Supply Chain/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent;
- Valid Driver’s License with driving experience;
- Must have done a module in Transport Management or have a Certificate in Transport Management
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint) is a must;
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English;
- Broad Supply Chain knowledge in a manufacturing environment will be advantage;
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Good problem solving and analytical skills;
- Good planning and organizational skills – time management; and
- Proven ability to take responsibility and high level of integrity.
