Applications are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven Waiter to join a team based at St John’s collage. This role reports directly to a Facilities Manager, in the Integrated Business Unit.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness in the areas allocated
Delivering of food and setting up for functions
Ensure function work areas, equipment and utensils are in a clean and orderly condition
Ensure food is displayed in a presentable manner
Clear dishes and return to kitchens after functions

Requirements

A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care
Basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Honest and reliable
No criminal Record
Matric and or a Basic food hygiene certificate
Relevant experience working in a similar environment
Maintaining compliance with the highest sanitation, safety, and quality standards
Willingness to undertake new duties to support colleagues within the team
